ENVIRONMENTAL, URBAN & LANDSCAPE PLANNING

Planning services provided range from broad scale land planning projects to management plans for medium and large developments. Common to all projects is the ability to understand natural systems and their interaction with human activities. Sturt Noble Associates employ considerable skills in land analysis and interpretation to define opportunities and constraints for development. Planning may involve such diverse roles as plans of management, land capability assessments, urban design reports and master planning, bushland and riparian management plans; and landscape rehabilitation planning.

SITE PLANNING

Site planning services translate functional development and site requirements into proposals that optimise cultural and environmental conditions. The practice provides a close integration of development with the character and opportunities of the site. The benefits of this approach are not only cost effective, aesthetic and functional but also respectful of natural resources.

We take pride in the high level of on- and off-site research we undertake to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.

VISUAL IMPACT ASSSESSMENTS

Sturt Noble has completed visual impact assessments both unaided and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team for a wide range of clients such as the Australian Turf Club and the Roads and Maritime Services. We believe in the importance of visual impact assessment as a part of an ongoing wholistic design approach that starts at the concept stage of a project and continues through to practical completion. We aim to provide accurate, thoroughly researched visual design assessments, resulting in high quality projects that support local connectivity and improve the value of the public domain.
